七代目松本幸四郎
七代目松本幸四郎の演技をひと目見たくて探した。
私は劇場とテレビを合わせても数回しか歌舞伎を見たことがないので、けっして歌舞伎ファンとは言えないし詳しくもない。伝統芸能の雰囲気が少し好き、といったところ。そんな私でも、歌舞伎関係者ではない人たちが戦後間もなくまで活躍した歌舞伎役者の優れた演技や人格のことに触れる記述に何度か遭遇して、彼らの演技が昨今のチンピラ役者とどう違うのか興味があった。歌舞伎初心者の私にとって、歌舞伎とは形式の伝承でしかなく、役者の技量がどれほど歌舞伎に個性をもたらすものなのか興味があった。
その代表格といえば七代目松本幸四郎。しかし、彼は昭和24年に80歳で亡くなっているので、残された映像が見つからない。やはり無いのかと思い諦めかけたのだが、遂にこれを見つけた。我々が手にできるものとしては、ほぼ唯一の作品のようだ。
凄いと思った。見ている自分の姿勢が自然と前のめりになった。彼はこの時点で74歳ぐらい。既にこの勧進帳を千数百回も演じているそうだ。初心者の私があまり大袈裟なことを言いたくはないが、単なる模倣や形式を超えた迫力と円熟を感じさせる。
十五代目市村羽左衛門の富樫も美しい。彼も既に70歳ぐらいだが、声も姿も所作も本当に美しい。弁慶と富樫の掛け合いのシーンは計算し尽くされた一幅の名画のような景色が何度も作られる。
歴史的名舞台、国宝級などという言葉が、この映像を見る前の私の脳に既に刷り込まれていることを差し引いても、やはり凄いと思う。

クロッカス
夜起きて
トイレへの廊下（みち）
床板（ゆか）温む
秋芋
縁の下の温度は、外気の変化に遅れてじっくりと変わっていく。冬になったからと言ってすぐには冷えないけれど、厳しい寒さが何日も続くと縁の下の冷たさは廊下の床板にじわっと伝わってくる。夜半にトイレに立って、その冷たさを足下に感じると真冬になったことを実感させられる。
気がつけば、その床板もずいぶんと温んできた。縁の下にも春が忍び込んで来たことを感じる。台所にはいつでもお湯が出るようになった今の時代、水の温みに春を感じることは少ない。我が家の廊下は、今でも春の温みを触れて感じることのできる場所なのだ。
さて、本題のクロッカス。こちらは見て感じる春。

Sex Education
I was the first generation of the sex education in Japan. In 1971, I was a freshman in high school, and our teachers showed us a movie of sex education. It was mostly about STD, which just scared us.
What is the purpose of sex education? To prevent STD? Yes, it sometimes ruins a whole life, and Japan is still increasing the number of HIV career and AIDS patient. To avoid unexpected pregnancy? Yes, the number of abortion by teenager is about 46,500 in 2001, and 22,800 in 2008.
Is that all for sex education? No. It is , I believe , the foundation of sex education to respect new-born life and partner's life as well as one's own life.
One of the major problem of sex education in Japan is the empty heads of old type politicians. The former PM Koizumi said that he got a nodding acquaintance without sex education, ha ha ha. It was exactly what a boorish PE teacher of my junior high school said forty years ago.

今日の晩ご飯
サバの開き 大根おろし添えカボチャのそぼろ煮
小松菜と油揚げの煮びたし
今日の晩ご飯は母に好評・・・だったと思う。私自身はどちらかと言えば食事は口に入るものなら何でもいいし、食事に文句を言うやつは他人の子供でも殴りたくなる方だけど、バランスのとれた旨い食事にはやっぱり心が満足する。
どういう晩ご飯に母と私は満足するのか考えておこうと思った。何となくの流れで食事を作ると３回中２回は何となく不満の残る食後感になる。品数の問題ではない。おかずは３点勝負。
煮物、煮物、焼き物というのが今日のパターン。この組み合わせで煮魚はバランスが悪い。実際、そういう失敗を何度もしてきた気がする。煮魚のときは、少し味の薄い海藻物とか葉物のお浸しとかを組み合わせると味にワンクッションおけるのかな、と思う。
旨い芋類は食事の満足度を高める。カボチャや芋の煮物には出来るだけ砂糖を使わない。私の砂糖の使い方が下手なのかもしれないし、嗜好もあると思うけど、野菜の煮物に砂糖を感じると旨くない。
バランスに気をつけた献立３点勝負。それって、そんなに難しくなさそう。

スノードロップ
本当にびっくり。もう４年も前に球根を植えたスノードロップ。10球植えて最初の春にいくつか花が咲いたけど、それっきり消えてしまったと思っていた。彼岸花の葉の間から姿を見せた花はとても瑞々しい。じっと体力を蓄えて、この日を待っていた感じ。
スノードロップの開花としては少し遅いと思うけど、そんな事どうだっていい。元気でいてくれたことが嬉しい。

自前でフォトアルバム
CGIを使ったホームページを作った人でないとちょっと分からない話。おもに自分のためのメモ。
自宅や職場のネットワークカメラは動くものを感知するとスナップ写真を撮ってメールで送ってきていた。しかし、メールのセキュリティ設定の問題やら膨大なメール数の問題やら、いろいろ煩わしい。そこで、その写真をFTP機能でウェブサーバに溜めることにした。
ところが、次々と溜まってくるこの写真をブラウザで一覧表示するのは簡単ではない、ということはウェブサイトを作ったことのある人なら理解してもらえると思う。最近は無料で使えるインターネット上のフォトアルバムがたくさんあるので、FTPで写真をアップ出来るやつを見つければ簡単だと思ったけど、私の調べた範囲でそんなのは無い。
そこで、ウェブサーバに自前でフォトアルバムを作るプログラムを探してみた。見つけたのは、フォトサムネイルというプログラム。これで表示されたフォトアルバムが上の写真。
最近はホームページも作っていないので、勘が戻らずにもどかしい作業になったが、終わってみればとてもシンプルだった。CGIプログラムもPerlのパス以外は本当に何も書きかえる必要は無かったし、ブラウザでのフォトアルバムの表示もアドレスでview16.cgiを直接指定すればいいからCGIプログラムをリンクさせるウェブページだって作らなくてもいい。photoディレクトリ、viewdataディレクトリ、cgiプログラムを同じディレクトリにアップロードして属性変更するだけだった。
最初、CGIプログラムがうまく動いてくれなかったけど、これは転送モードを間違えたのかもしれない。FFFTPの転送モード自動選択でアップロードしたら正常に動いた。表示する写真のディレクトリや表示様式の変更はページの管理画面で行う。パスワードはc******n。
